Once again we have added to our family! One of my parents' cats had babies about two months ago and since Sage has been so lonely, we decided he needed a friend. We were a little worried about the size difference... but Sage learned quickly that he has to play gently.
In our old place Sage would go outside all the time and was the top "dog" in the neighborhood. When we moved he got in a few fights and doesn't like going outside. He was very ornery and we could just tell he was lonely. In spite of spending extra time with him he got very mopey. Since Zoey arrived he has really perked up! Their favorite game is when Zoey goes under the chair in the living room and Sage lays on the chair, they "reach" to each other and bat each others' paws. Sage has been happy and playful again and we are having fun with both of them! Zoey also likes playing with Ethan! When Ethan is scooting around he will reach for her and she will run back and forth from his hands. She plays with his feet when he is in his jumper too!
