I'm getting really frustrated with my insomnia. As soon as it gets dark my body decides sleep isn't an option. Normally I would take part of a Unisom or something, but I have to be able to wake up every few hours, and that wouldn't work. I've tried all the "tricks" and nothing has worked. Warm shower, certain foods, meditating, just lying there, everything. Anyway... that aside, I did get some decent sleep during the day today. Although, that's probably not helping my night time problems. My aunt Deb stopped by and dropped some stuff off today. We usually go through Evanston in the middle of the night for some reason, so it's been quite a while since I've seen her. When Loren got home from work he talked to his brother for quite a while. Then we went for a drive and looked at Christmas lights. I have found a really beautiful neighborhood I love to look at the houses in, I figured they would probably have a lot of really cool lights and I was right. It was gorgeous. Then we came home and Loren is in asleep. But of course I can't fall asleep. So there ya go... I'm going to try to get our Christmas letter done, maybe that will be soporific.
