Ok... Here's Ethan at one week...
and here he is at 10 weeks! Talk about growing like a weed!!!!!!

Sorry I haven't been posting as faithfully lately, I've been a little overwhelmed with everything. In a matter of three days I was in the ER again, we found a house to rent, and Loren got a new job! All this while trying to keep up with a adorable but exhausting little guy.

I finally made some progress on our apartment today. I was able to get the bedroom really cleaned and organized. I've decided that I don't have to talk to Ethan constantly. While I was cleaning I completely ran out of things to talk about, so I put a book on CD in. I don't think Ethan knew what John Bytheway was talking about, but he was hearing talking. It was nice to have him calm and just observant for a while so I could actually do something!

Along with getting the bedroom cleaned... We are almost all done with laundry! Woo-hoo! I don't like being behind in laundry, but I don't like hauling it outside either. Ok... yeah... I know I'm a whiner. But guess what! In a little over a month, I won't have to haul it outside! I'm SOOOO excited about that! I haven't made much more progress on the kitchen since the other day, but it won't take too much to get done either. I'll have to do a REALLY deep clean when we move(pull out the fridge and stove and get behind them), but it's almost good enough to show.

Oh yeah... that's my new project. I've got to write an ad an put it up at the Wilk and on Craigslist and KSL.com. I don't think we'll have a problem finding someone to take over our contract, but I'd rather start early and be sure. I want to get some of our "extra" stuff out too so it doesn't look cluttered. It's hard in such a small space to avoid looking cluttered though. I don't know for sure where I'm going to put some of the stuff we will pack ahead of time, but I know it needs to be out to show the apartment.

As far as other events... Ethan is standing even more now. Sometimes with just a little bit of help he'll go from sitting to standing mostly on his own! We ran out of his medicine for the reflux and I decided to go a few days and see how it goes. He's ok... but everything in our house smells like sour milk! It doesn't seem to be hurting him as much as it used to, but if only to keep the spit-up under control we need it. It isn't too expensive either... so I think it's definitely worth it.

Ethan loves the sound of the ocean. I have found a website that has different white noise sounds you can play and one is the ocean. It puts him right to sleep when he's tired. It won't keep him asleep all the time, but it gets him there in the first place. I also add a drumbeat to it that sounds like a heartbeat, and some bird song sounds to make it less boring for me.

Ok... Sage is a monster... at least when it comes to toilet paper! See that? That's his favorite pastime! I have to keep the toilet paper clear out of anywhere he can get, but I forgot to put that roll back up after using it for kleenex. And you can see what happened...

Well, there's your update with pictures. I'm sure I forgot something major, but I can't remember right now and I really need to go to sleep! We have one load about done in the dryer and as soon as it's done we'll have lights out. Tomorrow we are going to go to Costco with Jason and do some other things, but I don't know for sure what. I really want to make some more serious progress on the apartment. If we could find someone to take over our contract it would take a huge load off my mind. Then I'll just have 50 other huge loads on my mind! As always, hope everyone is doing wonderfully! Goodnight!
